FaceOn

Your account

Your picture and name, how you sign in, and deleting your account.

Go to Settings, then Account.

Picture and name

People see your picture when your camera is off.

  • Pick one of the avatars, or select Shuffle for new ones. You can also change it as you join a meeting: select your avatar beside your name.
  • If you signed in with Google or GitHub, you can use that photo instead.
  • Change your Display name. It's the name people see in meetings.

How you sign in

You can sign in with Google, GitHub, or your email and a password, and use more than one.

  • Connect Google or GitHub. It must use the same email address as your account.
  • Remove a method you no longer use. You always keep at least one.
  • Connecting Google Calendar (Settings, then Calendar) also connects Google as a way to sign in. Removing Google disconnects Google Calendar too.
  • Set a password to sign in with your email, too, or Change password. Changing it signs you out on your other devices.

Delete your account

Select Delete account. This removes your meetings, notes and avatar for good, and people you invited can no longer join your meetings. If you connected Google Calendar, your upcoming meetings are cancelled there first, so Google lets the people you invited know, and then FaceOn gives up its access to your calendar. Past meetings stay in it. If you haven't signed in recently, you'll be asked to sign in again first.

The privacy policy explains what's deleted with your account, and what's kept for a while.
