Meeting limits

How many people, how long, and how many meetings, for demo and full meetings.

FaceOn runs on free services, so meetings have limits. Anyone with an account can host. Hosts added by whoever runs this copy of FaceOn host full meetings, and everyone else hosts demo meetings.

Demo meetings

  • Up to 4 people, the host included.
  • Up to 15 minutes. Everyone sees the time left, and a warning 5 minutes and 1 minute before the end.
  • Up to 3 a day. Home says how many you have left today. Making a meeting for later doesn't use one; starting it does.

Full meetings

  • Up to 20 people, with no time limit.

For everyone

  • The meeting's host can always get in, even when the meeting is full.
  • When a meeting is full, the next person to join hears so, and can try again when someone leaves. With the waiting room on, hosts can let people in only while there's room.
  • You can make up to 20 meetings a day.
  • When many meetings are running at once, a new one may have to wait. Try again shortly.
  • After 10 minutes alone in a meeting, FaceOn asks whether you’re still there, and leaves for you if nobody answers.
